My work within the sleep space encompasses comprehensive education surrounding biological, safe, healthy, and normal infant sleep. Within my role as a certified infant sleep and well-being specialist my goal is to offer individual peer support and education to families in ways that shed light on the nuances of the biology behind the dyad with the understanding that we can’t alter an infants sleep needs but we can work together to mitigate unrealistic expectation, gain a better understanding of you and your infants needs, and create a more supportive environment so everyone can get the rest and support they deserve.
“The key to activating maturation is to take care of the attachment needs of the child. To foster independence we must first invite dependence; to promote individuation we must provide a sense of belonging and unity; to help the child separate we must assume the responsibility for keeping the child close.” Gabor Maté
